Access to and use of the Website and Qikio products and services are subject to these Terms and Conditions. You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions by using the Website, or otherwise indicating your agreement to be bound (e.g. by telling us or our underwriter(s) over the phone, or ticking “I agree” when purchasing a policy). We may provide links and direct you to third party websites (e.g. underwriters). We do not monitor or assume responsibility for the condition or content of any third party website and these are subject to their own Terms & Conditions.
To provide each Qikio product (and only for that purpose), Qikio Insurance is issued and underwritten by numerous underwriters. Australian Insurance Company Pty Ltd (AIC) is authorised by these underwriters to arrange for the issue of this insurance on their behalf. AIC has appointed Qikio Pty Ltd (Qikio) as its Authorised Representative. Qikio undertakes various activities including advertising, the operation and maintenance of this website and quotelines, communication throughout the lifecycle of your policy and some sales and service functions. The terms and conditions that apply to your insurance product are set out in each respective Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) . Qikio may receive a commission and other benefits in connection with each of these policies.

‘Website’ refers to qikio.com.au and associated sites.
‘Qikio’, ‘our’, ‘us’ and ‘we’ refers to Qikio Pty Ltd ABN 84 648 643 369 (Qikio), authorised representative of Australian Insurance Company Pty Ltd (AIC) ACN 002 941 513, AFSL No. 238384, under AR No.1296984.
‘you’, ‘your’ and ‘Qikio Customer’ refer to users of the Website and persons who hold insurance policies issued under the Qikio brand.
Communication
At Qikio, we will communicate with you about your policy, as well as offers and benefits that we may make available to you. These offers and benefits may relate to insurance and/or other products and services. We only want to send you messages that you would like to receive, and we understand you may want to opt out of receiving certain types of messages that we send you.
Unless you have unsubscribed, you agree to Qikio and our underwriter(s) sending you messages via various channels (including by email, SMS, mail).
You will receive different types of messages as a Qikio Customer. You agree that the method by which you can unsubscribe from each of these types of messages is by:
- clicking the unsubscribe link contained in those messages;
- sending “STOP” to the number from which you receive any promotional SMSs messages from us; or,
- by calling or emailing our Customer Service team on help@qikio.com or 1300 459 346 and letting us know you’d no longer wish to receive marketing and promotional messages.
If you are a Qikio Customer, Qikio and our underwriter(s) need to be able to send you messages relating to your policy, changes to your account, missed payment reminders, renewal notifications, claims information, important information relating to products and services you have purchased, forgotten passwords, and updates to our T&Cs and Privacy Policy.
If you hold more than one Qikio policy, unsubscribing from marketing and promotional messages from Qikio will automatically unsubscribe you from marketing and promotional messages from Qikio in relation to other Qikio policies that are connected to the same email address or mobile number.

If you cancel your Qikio product the Communication Sections of the Terms and Conditions will continue to apply for 5 business days after the effective date of the cancellation of your policy. However, the relevant underwriter(s) may continue to communicate to you in relation to your policy.
Offers and fair use
We may from time to time make offers and promotions available to new or existing Qikio Customers or policies.
Offers and promotions are subject to the terms and conditions specific to that offer or promotion, in addition to these Terms and Conditions. You agree that you will not use any offer or promotion in an excessive, unreasonable or fraudulent manner.
If we determine, acting reasonably, that you have used an offer or promotion in an excessive, unreasonable or fraudulent manner, we may cancel, revoke or limit your right to enjoy the offer or promotion immediately and without prior notice to you.

Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law in force in the state of Victoria, Australia.
Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions or in connection with your use of the Website which cannot be resolved by good faith negotiations between you and us or our underwriter(s), shall be referred to mediation or to arbitration. However, we reserve, at our absolute discretion, our right to instigate legal proceedings prior to negotiation, arbitration or mediation against any individual, organisation or entity, who in our opinion has acted in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
